Brinson Prize Fellow, MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research

I am a Brinson Prize Fellow at MIT’s Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research. I study how the most massive galaxies formed, using JWST, Euclid, and the survey catalogs I help build: COSMOS2020, UNCOVER, and the Cosmic Dawn Survey.

I lead the JWST program Beasts in the Bubbles and co-lead NASA’s Galaxies Science Interest Group. Before MIT, I was a postdoc at UMass Amherst with Kate Whitaker, did my PhD at the Cosmic Dawn Center in Copenhagen with Sune Toft, and studied at St Andrews.

Outside research, I speak for NASA’s Universe of Learning and have spent more than a decade at public observatories. Interested in visiting or collaborating? See visit.
